AmyQuilts Embroidery Clubhouse 2.0
Virtual New Owner Lessons and Support for Janome Embroidery Machines
Join the AmyQuilts Embroidery Clubhouse 2.0!
Do you struggle with your fabulous Janome embroidery machine? You know it should do X, Y, and Z but you're not entirely sure how? Maybe you don't have a helpful dealer close enough for convenient classes to master your new machine?
Maybe you're staying at home more? You are ready to really stitch up a storm and learn about your machine and machine techniques at home, but you could use some help.
Been told it's "operator error"? You're trying to do it right but you've been left figuring it out on your own. That is super frustrating!
When it comes to embroidery machines, there's a lot to learn. Not just the machine, but also all the other steps: navigating the computer to get designs onto the machine, special software, hooping, stabilizer and more.
You are not alone! I've heard pleas for help from machine owners just like you over the years and this is my ongoing Janome specific online club for folks just like you!
What's up with the 2.0 thing? Well, the original AmyQuilts Embroidery Clubhouse was launched in February 2020, shortly after the AmyQuilts Sewing Clubhouse opened. One month later everyone was impacted by the pandemic. About one year after, I realized that all the changes and challenges of the pandemic was taking a toll on me. Something had to go. The Embroidery Clubhouse was put on 'hold' with students continuing to access the materials without having to continue their regular membership fees. New members from the AmyQuilts Sewing Clubhouse who had embroidery machines continued to want into the Embroidery Clubhouse and others wanted to join at the recommendation of a friend. I now have a good team in place, my kids are back in school, and it's time to relaunch!
The AmyQuilts Embroidery Clubhouse 2.0 has all the original information, tutorials, and projects as the original. This allows all previous members who want to renew their monthly membership to switch over seamlessly and eventually the original Embroidery Clubhouse will be shut down.
The AmyQuilts Embroidery Clubhouse 2.0 is where all new content will be posted.
The AmyQuilts Embroidery Clubhouse 2.0 is designed to shorten the learning curve of your Janome embroidery machine and to allow members to get the most out of their embroidering experience. Whether a beginner with embroidery or an experienced machine embroiderer, you will build your knowledge of your machine and creative embroidery techniques.
This clubhouse is for the following machines: The Janome 15000, 14000, 12000, Skyline S9, and even the 9950, as well as the 500 and 550e embroidery only machines. It is recommended that you also join the AmyQuilts Sewing Clubhouse if you have one of the combination machines (15000, 14000, 12000, and Skyline S9, 9850).
What about the Janome Continental M17? The M17 is the newest top of the line combo machine (sewing and embroidery) from Janome. Since it has many features that are unique to it, I am in the process of creating a stand-alone course for owners to learn the features of their machine. Once an M17 owner has taken the stand-alone, access forever class, an M17 owner may wish to join either, or both Clubhouses for additional virtual dealer support, project and technique lessons and foot information.
Carole says:
"You have taught me so much. I never learned how to operate my Janome 10000. I love using my 14000 more than ever since your training in Clubhouse! Thank you so much!"
Start with the basic operation and threading of the embroidery machine, including the proper set up of the machine from sewing to embroidery with the combination machines. Then how to navigate through the menus and settings and stitch out designs that came with your machine, including stabilizer and thread selection.
Joann Brothers says,
"The club houses are fabulous, well worth the money!"
Then delve into using the machine software, moving designs, editing and combining them, and getting them onto your machine, ready to stitch. Then there are the Janome embroidery apps! I'll show you why they are so amazing, why you should use them and how.
Each month there's something new to discover, often including a new design to stitch out that builds on what we have learned. These designs are exclusive to the Clubhouse and yours to keep.
Monthly Q & A Your membership includes an invitation into our members-only Facebook group where members can share projects and get to know one another. This is the same group the AmyQuilts Sewing Clubhouse uses. There is a live monthly Q & A session with Amy and it's like having a virtual dealer in your sewing room.
If you want to learn how to get the most out of your Janome embroidery machine, this is how!
It is my goal to help you use the features of your machine to the fullest so that you can stitch with greater confidence and creativity.

Amy is a Janome dealer and the owner of Sew Simple of Lynchburg, in Lynchburg Virginia. She has found that stitching, and in particular, free motion quilting, is a great way to be creative and release the stress of the day. As such, she is passionate about helping Janome owners use their machines with confidence. Amy's husband, Eric, is a certified Janome machine tech who finds the Janome models fascinating. Together they can give you the reasons why your machine is set up to do what it does, and why it might not be doing what you want.
Amy teaches in a laid back, easy-going style. She has no problem sharing issues she's had with a machine and why. Her students often say she's encouraging and relatable.
